Arrival at Kathmandu. Our representative will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Pre-dinner orientation by an expert.Dinner at a local restaurant with staff from Golden Tibet.

After breakfast, our easy Nepal tour begins. Board a vehicle for a four-hour drive inland to Chitwan National Park. Enjoy a sunset view on the shores of the Rapti River. The distance between Kathmandu to Chitwan is 181km.

Chitwan National Park: Chitwan National Park was established in 1973 and covers a rich natural area in the Nepal plains, the subtropical southern part of Nepal. A total of 68 species of mammals, 544 species of birds, 56 species of fauna and 126 species of fish have been recorded in the park. The Park consists of thick forests, marshlands, meadows, and rivers of Nepal’s enchanting unreached zones, only inhabited by wild animals and tribal people scattered on the outskirts of the park. In the middle of the protected area, the Narayani-Rapti river system forms a natural boundary to human settlements. Taking a perfectly paced tour brings you to fascinating portions inaccessible on foot and across the vast expanse of Nepal’s mystical forests to see some of the most fascinating creatures on the planet.

In the morning, you will be visiting the Elephant Breeding Centre, where you can have the immersive experience of watching Elephant bathing in the river. You will then embark on a Jeep Safari within the jungle allowing you the rare opportunity to see the Bengal Tiger and the One-horned Rhino among a host of other animal and bird species. Return to your hotel in the evening.

Note: You can also have cultural encounters with tribal villages of the Tharu community who have preserved their age-old traditions, and live their lives as a part of the forest.

After early breakfast, we will drive to Lumbini. This distance is 175 km. At Lumbini, we will visit the Maya Devi Temple, Ashoka Pillar, Myanmar Golden Temple, World Peace Pagoda, and the Lumbini Museum.

Lumbini is the birth place of Siddhartha Gautama, the Buddha. Born to King Suddhodhana and Queen Mayavati of Kapilvastu, in around 623 BCE, Siddhartha Gautama renounced his kingdom, meditated under the Bodhi tree. Thirty-five years later, he became the Buddha - the enlightened one. The Lumbini complex spreads across 7.7 sqkilometres. Here, you can delve into various sites and sophisticated monasteries, separated into an eastern and western zone. Among the many religious monuments, there is an iron pillar, built in the 3rd century BCE by emperor Ashoka. The iconic monument at Lumbini is the Mayadevi temple, within which one can see the sacred spot where the Buddha was born. You can also visit the Lumbini museum, displaying a large variety of artefacts found during excavations at Lumbini with photographs of its history of the place and idols and statues, and other artworks showing important Buddhist iconography.

After exploring more of Lumbini in the morning, we will make a 200 km mid-day drive to Pokhara.

Pokhara: Pokhara is one of the most beautiful places in Nepal. The olive-green waters of Lake Phewa are just one of its many attractions in Pokhara. Spread around the beautiful Phewa Lake, Pokhara is known as the doorway to many trekking routes in the Annapurna region. Filled with immense natural beauty, Pokhara offers various adventure activities but it can also be a place where you can relax. There are excellent views of the Annapurna Mountains from Pokhara among which Mt. Machhapuchhare (6,993 m) is the most prominent one.

In the morning, we will visit Sarangkot for a view of the Sunrise. Later, visit Devi’s Fall and Gupteshwar Caves. In the afternoon, we will visit Vindyabasini Temple, International Mountaineering Museum, and in the evening, enjoy a pleasant boat ride in Phewa Lake.

Sarangkot is a small and beautiful village located at an altitude of 1,600m. The mountain tops from Sarangkot are dramatic in the extreme; chiselled and sheer-cut, carved and jagged, and topped with a layer of stunning snow. Sarangkot offers more clarity due to its sheer altitude. You can get up to the view tower at Sarangkot, to capture the amazing views of Annapurna I (8901m), Annapurna II (7937), Dhaulagiri (8167), Manaslu (8163), NgadiChuli (7871), Gangapurna (7455m), Annapurna IV (7525), Himalchuli (7893m), Machapuchare (6993m), Khumjungar (6759), and a host of other small peaks.

PhewaLake or Phewa Tal is a freshwater lake in Nepal formerly called Baidam Tal located in the south of the Pokhara Valley. Phewa Lake is located at an altitude of 742 m and covers an area of about 1.7 sq mi. It has an average depth of about 8.6 m and a maximum depth of 24 m. The area around the lake has a mild climate that makes it a perfect place to visit any time of the year.

After breakfast, we will drive to Kathmandu. The drive will take us about 5/6 hours. Take the rest of the day off at the hotel.

After breakfast, we will visit Swayambhunath Temple and the Kathmandu Durbar Square. In the afternoon we will visit BoudhanathStupa.

Swayambhunath Temple (Stupa): According to religious texts, Swayambhu is the oldest monument in the Kathmandu valley. Revered by both Hindus and Buddhists, this beautiful temple looks instantly holy and captivating. Perched high above a hill that overlooks Kathmandu city, the Swayambhunath complex has been a holy shrine since the 5th century, and known for the magnificent giant domed Stupa, as well as an assortment of shrines and temples around it.

Kathmandu Durbar Square: Located at the heart of the city, this is an excellent place to explore. The entire square consists of various traditional tiered temples with extremely beautiful wood carvings. There are beautiful temples like the Jagannath Temple, KotilingeshwaraMahadev, and the Mahendreswara Temple, and the Taleju Temple is the largest one in the entire complex and commands greater reverence. You can also visit Kasthamandap, the temple that gave Kathmandu its name. Next to it, there is a three-storied temple with a courtyard – the famed KumariBahal. This temple is the residence of the Kumari, the living Goddess. The complex also has a large museum that you visit.

Boudhanath Stupa: Located about 11 kilometers towards the north-eastern part on the outskirts of Kathmandu is the BoudhanathStupa, also called JarungKhashor in Tibetan. This is a white dome containing Buddhist relics. The structure is colossal, covered in white lime with huge Buddha eyes looking out in the cardinal directions. Around the base of the Stupa are 108 small images of the Dhyani Buddha Amitabha and an assortment of prayer wheels, set in groups of four. The BoudhanathStupa is designed to represent a Mandala.

After breakfast, drive 13km east to visit Bhaktapur. After lunch, visit the Patan Durbar Square.

Bhaktapur:Bhaktapur is a medieval Newari city that has a combination of four squares -Bhaktapur, Dattatreya, Taumadi, and Pottery. Bhaktapur is famous of it's ornate temples and palaces. The Palace of Fifty-five Windows that stands right at Bhaktapur Square is an important historical building. There are numerous old religious structures such as the Rameshwar Temple, Badrinath Temple, GopiNath Temple, and TaduchhenBahal among others, but the main attraction in Bhaktapur has always been the Dattatreya Temple and the Nyatapola. Dattatraya Temple is the oldest one in the complex and Nyatapola is a massive five-storey temple dedicated to Goddess Siddhalaxmi built during the reign of King BhupatindraMalla.

Patan:Patan Durbar Square is a palace and temple, complex whose monuments date back to the 3rd BCE. Patan lies across the Bagmati River, north of Kathmandu, and falls in the Lalitpurdistrict.Beautiful tiered temples, historical structures decorated with ornate carvings, princely palaces, and airy chants from numerous devotees are the enchanting lure of Patan. Here, you can visit the Bhimsen temple, Vishwanath temple and the beautiful Stone Krishna Mandir (Temple) built in the Avaran style. This three storied stone temple was built by King Siddhi NarasinghaMalla in the 16th century
