To travel to Tibet from Nepal, you need a Chinese Group Visa from the Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu, and we will make all the necessary travel arrangements. The visa is issued on a separate piece of paper, not on your passport. To apply for the visa, the initial step is to book a Tibet tour with us. After you have booked your preferred Tibet tour package, you must send a copy of your passport us to obtain the Tibet Travel Permit. We advise sending your passport copy at least 25 days before your tour date. The visa fees vary depending on your country of origin and the urgency of your visa requirement.

Morning you will fly for about an hour over the panoramic Himalayan Ranges to the capital of Tibet. "Lhasa”. Lhasa at an altitude of 3,650 Mt. is situated on the north bank of Kyichu River.     After breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing of Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple, Potala Palace, this legendary palace built atop a single hill is synonymous with Tibet by the first foremost king SongtsenGompa. Jokhang Temple, situated in the heart of Old Lhasa, it houses Tibet's most precious religious relic, a golden Shakyamuni Buddha which was brought as a gift by the Chinese Princess Wen Cheng on the occasion of her wedding to the Tibetan King, SongtsenGompo.
