This journey can be extended by 1-2 days to include Dhulikhel and Namo Buddha, enhancing the experience for travelers. The trek begins in Sundarijal, a quick 45-minute drive from Kathmandu, and traverses the Shivapuri National Park. This path winds through a significant watershed that supplies 40% of Kathmandu's drinking water.

As you embark on this trek, you'll enjoy stunning views of the Himalayas, including Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang Himal, and Gaurishankar Himal. On clear days, you might even glimpse Mount Everest in the distance. The first stop is Chisapani, a village named for its "cold water," where the crisp air and serene environment offer a refreshing escape from the bustling city life. Start on a scenic 45-minute drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal, covering approximately 20 kilometers. The journey begins with the mesmerizing Sundarijal waterfall and watershed, crucial for Kathmandu Valley's water supply. The route passes through the Tamang Village and ascends to Mulkharka, entering a lush forest. Today’s trek involves a series of ascents and descents, culminating in a 4 to 5-hour hike to Chisapani, known for its 'cold water'. Overnight stay at a lodge in Chisapani.

    After breakfast, begin your hike to Nagarkot, trekking along an unsealed road through the forest for 2-3 hours, enjoying the symphony of birds and the tranquility of nature. Descend to Jhule and Chauki Bhanjyang, where a lunch break is scheduled. Post-lunch, continue the trek through quaint villages and terraced fields towards Nagarkot. From Kattike Bhanjyang, the trail climbs to reach Nagarkot. Covering a distance of 18 kilometers today, experience village life and panoramic landscapes along the way. Overnight stay at a lodge in Nagarkot.

      Start the day with a stunning sunrise in Nagarkot, widely regarded as one of the best in the world. Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hotel before driving to Bhaktapur. Explore the medieval charm of Bhaktapur Durbar Square and enjoy a lunch break in this historic setting. Conclude the day with a drive back to Kathmandu, marking the end of the trip with a warm farewell.
