The flight offers breathtaking views of the mountain ranges. Upon landing at Tenzing-Hillary Airport, you will be welcomed by our experienced Sherpa team and begin your trek to Phakding. Following the east bank of the Dudh Koshi River, you'll descend to the Kusum River and proceed to Phakding. It's crucial to take it slow to allow your body to acclimatize to the altitude. After a brief hike, you'll arrive at Phakding for an overnight stay in a local Sherpa-run teahouse.

Accommodation: Hotel Sherpa Guide or similar Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Duration: 3 to 4 hours Distance: 7.8 kilometers

Journey through breathtaking Sherpa villages like Bengkar, Monjo, and Jorsale on your way to Namche Bazaar. The route from Phakding to Namche includes various ascents and descents, and while challenging, the fresh air, stunning landscapes, and anticipation of reaching the summit will keep you motivated. Crossing the Dudh Koshi River at Bengkar, you'll enjoy views of peaks like Kusum Kanguru and Thamserku. After passing several villages, you'll reach the Sagarmatha National Park entrance checkpoint for permit verification. Then, follow the level path along the riverbank to the confluence of the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers. An ascent on a suspension bridge leads you to Namche Bazaar, with magnificent views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and Taweche.

Accommodation: Hotel Namche or similar Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Duration: 6 to 7 hours Distance: 10.4 kilometers

According to your itinerary, today is your first acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar. Take this day to rest and adjust to the altitude. Namche Bazaar, located in the Khumbu region, is a vibrant hub featuring ATMs, Internet cafés, restaurants, bakeries, and more. Opt for a short hike to nearby viewpoints like Thamo or Khunde, and explore the area, including the Tourist Visitor Center where you can learn about Everest climbers, Sherpa culture, and traditions. A trek to the Everest View Hotel is also possible. From this vantage point, you can get up-close views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Cho-Oyu, Mt. Thamserku, Mt. Tawache, and many others. After exploring, return to Namche for the night, having visited a photo gallery, museum, and some Sherpa settlements.

Accommodation: Hotel Namche or similar Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

From Namche Bazaar, your trek ascends to Tengboche, a path filled with stunning views of Mount Everest, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Lobuche, and other neighboring peaks. The journey to Tengboche involves a moderate climb, beginning with a descent into the Dudh Koshi valley at Pungi Thanka, followed by a gradual ascent to Tengboche. Here, you'll visit the renowned Tengboche monastery, an important Buddhist site on the route to Everest Base Camp. The monastery is not just a spiritual sanctuary but also boasts a breathtaking setting. Located just above the monastery, the imposing Mt. Ama Dablam dominates the skyline. The panorama also includes spectacular views of Mount Everest, Mount Nuptse, Mount Lhotse, Mount Lobuche, and various other peaks.

Accommodation: Hotel Trekkers Inn or similar Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Duration: 5 to 6 hours Distance: 9.3 kilometers

To reach Deboche, you'll take a scenic detour through forests of birch, juniper, fir, and rhododendron. In Deboche, you have the opportunity to visit a Buddhist nunnery and soak in stunning mountain vistas. Continuing along the EBC Trek with Helicopter Return Route, you'll follow the Imja Khola and pass several chortens en route to Pangboche, where the impressive Ama Dablam Mountain comes into view. As you progress from the verdant highlands of Pangboche to the more barren alpine terrain of Shomare, you'll notice the greenery dwindling. After Shomare, Orsho offers a glimpse of Mt. Pumori's towering ridge. The journey then takes you through meadows and yak herder summer settlements, culminating in the chilly, windy village of Dingboche. In winter, Dingboche is blanketed in snow, but in summer, it transforms into a picturesque landscape of grasslands with roaming yaks.

Accommodation: Mountain Heritage or Similar Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Duration: 4 to 5 Hours Distance: 10 Kilometers

Today is your second acclimatization day at the higher altitude as outlined in the EBC trek itinerary. The breathtaking views are a reward, but rest is essential to prepare for the final leg of your journey. You can choose to explore Dingboche and nearby villages like Chhukung and Imja, or simply rest in anticipation of the next hike. Short hikes are possible in various directions. Climbing Nagarjun Hill (2,128m) and Chhukung Ri (5,546m) are popular options. From the summit of Nagarjun Hill, you can enjoy panoramic views of Mt. Makalu, Mt. Lobuche, Thamserku, Ama Dablam, and other peaks.

Accommodation: Mountain Heritage or Similar Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Duration: 4 to 5 Hours

As you depart Dingboche, the trek becomes more intriguing due to the steep elevation gain. Heading towards Dughla (Thukla), you'll ascend a pronounced incline. Before reaching Dughla, a broad pass offers a welcome change from the linear path. From Dughla, the route climbs a challenging path to Chupki Lhara, adorned with prayer flags on stones commemorating American mountaineer Scott Fischer and Nepali guide Babu Chiri Sherpa, who both perished on Everest. Reaching the Khumbu Glacier moraine unveils a panorama of formidable peaks like Khumbutse, Lingtren, Pumori, and Mahalangur Himal. As your Luxury EBC Helicopter Return Trek progresses down the valley to Lobuche, the terrain eases. From Lobuche's glacier ridge, views extend to Everest Base Camp, Kalapatthar, the Khumbu Glacier, and the glacier-shaped moraines.

Tread carefully on the loose boulders and stones. The encircling snow-capped peaks greet you as you approach Gorakshep. Following the glacier further, you'll ascend to Everest Base Camp. The route here is steep, strewn with loose gravel and pebbles. Everest Base Camp lies at the foot of the Khumbu Icefall. During the climbing season, this area is dotted with vibrant tents across the barren terrain. The sensation of being beneath the world's tallest peaks is profound. After soaking in the spectacular views of Mount Everest and its companions, you'll return to Gorakshep for the night.
