Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Kerung. Overnight at Hotel (BB)
Drive from Kathmandu to Kerung – 2800 Meters – 145km (approx. 8 Hrs Drive)
Today is the day we move on our overland journey toward Tibet. Waking up early we get ready for an amazing journey through bus to Kerung town. As we leave the Kathmandu City, we will slowly gaze upon the beautiful rural landscape that are so pure and tranquile. Passing through various small settlements, alpine forest, dazzling rivers, we will eventually arrive at the Kerung. It is a Tibetan border town. Here, we will meet up with our Tibetan guide who will help us in clearing all the immigration formalities of Nepal and Tibet. Once completing the immigration, we will have a short uphill drive to Kerung Town, for an overnight stay.
Day 02: Drive from Kerung to Tingri. Overnight at Hotel (BB)
Overland drive to Tingri – 4300 Meter – 245km(approx. Hrs Drive)
Waking up in a serene environment of Kerung town, we will have breakfast at the hotel. After the breakfast we will resume our bus journey towards Tingri. On this overland journey, we will be blessed with an awe-inspiring view of typical Tibetan landscape, settlements and pristine forests. If everything goes right and the weather is all cleared up, then you can enjoy the amazing views of Mt. Cho you (8201meters) and Mt. Sishapangma (8012 meters), welcoming us on this marvelous voyage of Tibet. As we enjoy the view along, praising the beauty of Nature, we soon arrive at the Tingri for our overnight stay.
Day 03: Drive to Ronbuk and Hike to Everest Base Camp. Overnight at Guest House (BB)
Drive to Ronbuk – 4980 Meter & Hike to Everest Base Camp- 5520Meter – 90Km (approx. Hrs Drive)
Today is one of the most important day of our overland journey Tibet, as we will be gazing the world highest peak Mt. Everest, from Everest Base Camp. We will also be visiting Ronbuk Monastery, which is also the world highest monastery in the world. Waking up early in the morning and enjoying the breakfast in the cold breeze of air, we will head toward our destination Ronbuk. Leaving the Tingri behind, and drive towards the Ronbuk, we can see beautiful mountains, and greenery that’s close to a paradise. As we wonder through this lust land, we arrive at the Ronbuk. Arriving we will take short break and head with full spiritual mind towards one of the world highest Monastery i.e., Ronbuk. After spending some time at this monastery, we will move forward to one of the Highlight of the Tibet Tour, Everest base Camp. As we move forward from this monastery, you can see the Rongbuk Glacier which is also one of the largest glaciers formed out of Mt. Everest. Leaving the Rongbuk Monastery behind, an 8km steep uphill hike reaches to Everest Base Camp. This is the moment we are waiting for and is finally in reach of your palms. We will take time wondering around this magnificent mountain peak, while collecting some memory through the lens of your camera, we will head back to Ronbuk for the overnight stay.
Day 04: Drive from Ronbuk to Shigatse via Lhatse City. Overnight at Hotel (BB)
Drive to Shigatse – 3900 Meter via Lhatse City – 334km (approx. 8 -9 Hrs Drive)
Waking up with the beautiful sound of sing makes any ones moring great. Having the breakfast at the hotel, we will prepare for our 9 hours daunting bus journey to Shigatse. Leaving the Ronbuk behind we move ahead on the forestry roads, with amazing spreading mountains far across. Along the way you can see the huge Thangka wall of Shigatse, that visible from the north side of the wall. After a long scenic bus journey through the highest point of Gyatchu La pass at (5,220m), we finally reach our destination Shigatse for overnight stay.
Day 05: Drive from Shigatse to Gyantse and then to Lhasa. Overnight at Hotel (BB)
Drive to Ghantse- 3950 Meter to Lhasa – 350Km (approx. 9-10Hrs Drive)
  We will wake of early in the morning and go for a short exploration journey around Tashilhunpo monastery& the free bazaar of Xigatse. Tashi Lhunpo Monastery, founded by 1st Dalai Lama in 1447, is one of the historically and culturally important place on Buddhist. Panchen Lama are the head of the monastery. These people holds the religious and secular power over the Tsang region. After spending an hour or two in the premises of Tashi Lhunpo Monastery, we will head back to hotel for breakfast and afterwards we will march forward on our bus journey driving through Tibet’s biggest Agricultural fields to Gyantse and visit the Khumbum Stupa and Phalkot Monastery. After spending some time we will continue our drive to Lhasa, crossing 2 passes, the Karo La (5010m) and Khamba La (4794m) pass and Lake Yamdrok Tso (Turquoise Lake). After crossing the Yarlung Tsangpo River, comonnly known as Brahmaputra, the Potala Palace comes into the sight. Overnight at Lhasa.
Day 06/07: Guided tour Around Lhasa. Overnight at Hotel (BB)
A guided sightseeing tour of Jokhang Temple, Sera Monastery and Barkhor Market
Taking our first tour of Lhasa today. We'll gather in the lobby of the hotel early in the morning for breakfast. Having finished breakfast you will embark on an exploration of the city of Lhasa, where you will visit some monasteries and many historical sites. Commencing on our exploration tour, we will be visiting Sera Monastery. Built in the late 15th century, this monastery is one of the highly preserved monasteries in Tibet. Within the white walls and golden roof of this monastery, hundreds of Buddhist monks study Tibetan Buddhis. It is a utopia for those people who want to witness the buddhis tradition and culture from up-close. After exploring for an hour or two around the vicinity of Sera Monastery, we will take a break to fill our belly. This will enable us to prepare for our next destination i.e. Norbulingka. This monastery is widely known as the summer palace of the Dalai Lama all around Tibet. We will also be visiting one of the most sacred shrines of Tibet, the Jokhang Temple. This temple is surrounded by the narrow-cobbled street known as Barkor Street where you can find Tibetan art and artifacts. Various souvenir shops are also available, so don’t forget to pick some up for your friends and family back home. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast Included)
Day 08: Drive to Airport for Flight to Kathmandu or China

Since it is our last day in Tibet, we will gaze around Lhasa for the last time and bid farewell to this spiritual valley. Our representative will transfer you from Lhasa to Gonga Airport for your return flight to Kathmandu. There are several activities you can do if you have more time, such as Jungle Safari in Chitwan, Rafting at Bhote Koshi, Paragliding at Pokhara, or sightseeing by bicycle.
Apart from the things you use every day, there are no special equipment requirements for the tour. With an easy to moderate level of difficulty, all you need are simple and comfortable clothes that fit the month of the year in which you are travelling. Alternatively, if you are willing to be more cautious about the trip, then the list of equipment below will give you a general idea of what personal belongings you need for an enjoyable trip. It is entirely your decision whether or not to include any of the personal belongings listed below in your luggage.   All heavy equipment, such as suitcases and luggage, is carried by the vehicle during a tour. During the tour, make sure to keep all your valuables, including money, cameras, and water bottles, in your day-pack.

  • Warm wool or synthetic hat that cover your ears (only if you are travelling in the cold season i.e. January, February and December)
  • Goggles or sunglasses for sunbeam, dust and wind.
  • A neck warmer is another piece of gear for extra warmth if you feel you will need it and is for cold season i.e., January, February and December. (optional)
  • 1 pair warm gloves (This is required if you are travelling in cold season i.e. January, February and December).
  • T-shirts
  • Rain coat and waterproof fabric if you are travelling in a rainy season.
  • 1 pair cotton paints (loose jeans/khakis), 1 pair short.
  • 2 pairs lightweight long underwear/thermals (if you are traveling in winter January, February and December).
  • 2 pairs of liner socks, synthetic or capilene.
  • 1 pair light camping shoes or sneakers.
  • 1 pair sandal (Optional).
  • Passport and extra passport photos (4 copies).
  • Airline ticket (Please make a copy and leave on at our office in KTM just in case if you need to change the date of your).
  • Durable wallet / pouch for travel documents, money & passport.
  • Lip balm. At least SPF 20, 2 sticks. A string taped to the stick is helpful, to hang around your neck and some are now being sold with a cord already attached. Handy as it avoids you from having to stop and look for it.
  • Sunscreen
  • Toiletry kit. Be sure to include hand wipes, and liquid hand sanitizer
  • 2 bandanas.
